Carers’ Hubs

There are several Carers’ Hubs in our area and I have received news of two more. Here are links to information about each of them.

Fleet Carers’ Hub

Yateley Carers’ Hub

About the Hubs :
The Hubs will act as a central point where various agencies can come together and promote their services and be on hand to offer support, advice, information and guidance to carers and in return. Carers can access relevant information to support their needs, and the needs of the person they care for. This will include the opportunity to see a support worker and create an emergency carers’ plan which can be shared with the GP and Social Services if required.
The Hub helps reduce social isolation as well as providing both professional and peer support. In addition, it also helps carers to recognise safeguarding issues and where to go to for assistance. In addition, carers are able to access health checks and gain advice on accessing health services in an appropriate and timely manner for themselves.
